Scout Front Office: The Scout Harness, in the Browser, Inside Your Cloud
Scout Front Office brings the Scout harness into a private browser interface inside your own cloud or VPC, so the whole fund can review and continue the same session.
By Nisarg
Scout started as a terminal-first AI harness, and for quants and engineers who live in the command line, that was exactly right. But funds are teams. A trader should not need to open a terminal to review a run. A PM should not need to read logs to validate an output. A CIO should not have to guess how AI is being used across the firm.
So we built Scout Front Office: the same Scout harness, now available through a private web interface deployed inside your own cloud or VPC. No TUI. No external SaaS. No fund data calling home.
One session, shared across the fund
Scout Front Office does not replace the terminal version. It expands it. Technical users keep working the way they always have. Everyone else gets the same work through a browser.
Here is what that looks like in practice. A quant kicks off a research session from the terminal. Later, a trader opens it in the browser and reviews what happened. A PM validates the backtest and asks follow-up questions right there in the session. Ops checks the workflow history. Leadership sees the audit trail.
No screenshots. No pasted logs. No twenty-minute Slack explanation. The session itself is the shared object, with context intact and work continuing.
How it fits together

Built for funds that need control
Most AI tools are built for individuals and assume your data can travel. Funds need the opposite: shared workflows, internal permissions, reviewability, and an audit trail, with sensitive data never leaving the environment.
Scout Front Office runs entirely inside your infrastructure and connects only to the systems you approve. The principle is simple: bring AI to the fund's environment, not the fund's data to an external AI tool.
See it in action
We are releasing a short video walking through a real workflow: a session starts with a technical user in the terminal, moves into the browser, and gets reviewed by a trader and a PM.
If you looked at Scout before and thought it was powerful but too terminal-first, this is the release built for you. Reach out through our contact form or book a quick call, and we'll show you Scout running inside your cloud.
